Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team at KBR. As a Principal Technical Professional, you will play a key role in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering analyses for operational and non-operational phases, including seismic and accidental events.
  • Design primary and secondary steel structures.
  • Provide input for structural 3D modeling and drawing production.
  • Compile design basis, project specifications, and design reports.
  • Review vendor data and technical guidance.
  • Liaise with clients and 3rd party contractors to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Structural Engineering Design.
  • Experience in conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering of offshore platforms and FPSO.
  • Excellent technical and practical engineering skills.
  • Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software.
  • Proficiency in non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS.
  • In-depth knowledge of offshore design codes.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
