Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their tax and accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients.
- Assist with VAT returns and other tax-related tasks.
- Manage your own workflow and ensure client work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Mentor and coach trainees and junior staff.
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters.
- Liaise with clients, attending meetings and helping with queries.
- ACCA or ACA part qualified, studying or ready to begin.
- Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
- Good working knowledge across a variety of accounting software.
- A team player who can also work autonomously.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
