Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Croydon. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements for a diverse range of clients.
- Assist with tax returns and assessments for various organisational structures.
- Manage your own workflow and ensure client work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Mentor and coach trainees and junior staff.
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters.
- Liaise with clients, attending meetings and helping with queries.
- Promote and strive for customer service excellence, building strong rapport with clients.
- Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities.

- ACCA or ACA part-qualified, studying or ready to begin. AAT qualified will be a bonus.
- Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients in different sectors.
- Good working knowledge across a variety of accounting software.
- A team player who can also work autonomously.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
