We are looking for a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to work in our Verwood office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks including sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking, and bank reconciliations.
Our company offers a competitive salary package of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including flexible working hours, parking, and an annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Ledger: Manage customer accounts, ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and maintain relationships with clients.
• Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and manage cash flow.
• Banking: Manage cash handling, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• General Office Admin: Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
Requirements:
• AAT part or full qualification
• Previous experience with Sage 50
• Excellent Excel skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
