Job Overview:

Payrolljobsboard is excited to be working with a dynamic organisation looking to add a Payroll Executive to its team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process all aspects of payroll, including BACS operations when necessary.
  • Support senior colleagues in verifying payroll calculations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Efficiently manage pension, sick pay, and holiday pay processing.
  • Offer assistance for ad-hoc tasks, client inquiries, and queries from colleagues and HMRC.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Bureau Manager to ensure all client and statutory deadlines are met, maintaining up-to-date processes and procedures.
  • Be prepared to handle additional payroll duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Possess experience in end-to-end payroll preparation.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of handling high-volume payrolls or payroll bureau operations, including weekly processing.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of statutory deductions like pensions and auto-enrolment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Confident navigation of Excel, running and reconciling reports, and importing CSV data files.
