Salary:

£55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to infrastructure projects, including identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and procuring and managing supply chains.

  • This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify areas for cost savings and improvement.
  • You will work closely with senior members of the team to deliver commercial duties and achieve required standards and quality for our customers.
  • Your role will involve optimising commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities.
  • You will assist with commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additionally, you will provide support and adherence for the Gated Business Lifecycle process.
  • You will use the company's ERP System and BMS systems to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth project delivery.


Requirements:

  • You must have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • You should have experience of infrastructure projects with resilience and determination to succeed.
  • An organised, innovative, and creative approach to quantity surveying is essential.
  • You should have previous experience of managing costs and maximising value.
  • Previous experience of financial and commercial control within a project is also required.
  • Experience of procuring and managing supply chain is necessary.
  • Working as part of a commercial team is also expected.
  • Membership of or working towards RICS is desirable.
  • A proven record of working to deadlines, efficiently, and to a high standard is essential.
