The Transformation Unit seeks a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager. As part of our dynamic acute care team, you will lead by example and support the ward manager clinically and operationally on a shift-by-shift basis.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to promote recovery, individualized care planning, and least restrictive approaches for our patients. Your exceptional leadership skills and experience in managing a motivated team will be essential in guiding, coaching, and supporting your colleagues.

Located within our modern hospital facilities, Hollingworth Ward provides high-quality mental health services to individuals from the Rochdale area. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are seeking like-minded professionals who share our vision.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with junior staff members, providing supervision and guidance while supporting audits and quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise and knowledge of treatments and interventions for individuals with acute mental health needs will be invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

To succeed in this role, you must possess first-level registration as an RMN/RNMH, have extensive experience working in mental health settings, and be able to work effectively across the 24-hour shift pattern on a rotational basis.

We offer a competitive salary of £34,893 - £44,503 per annum (dependent on experience), as well as a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive induction program.
