About the Role

As a Data Product Manager at Smartwyre, you will lead the development and execution of our data product strategy. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the strategy, governance, and implementation of data-related initiatives. This includes delivering a data platform that enables webapp and insights teams to access data safely and scalably, as well as identifying and delivering data capabilities directly to customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Product Data Strategy and Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision and strategy for data products, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
  • Data Enablement: Collaborate with the Architecture team to define business needs for data enablement and drive the delivery of this key part of our platform.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
  • Product Development: Work closely with engineering and insights teams to design, build, and launch data products, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics to gain insights into product performance, user behavior, and market trends, and use these insights to drive product decisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development, performance, and roadmap.

Our Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience in product management, with a focus on data products or analytics.

Product data strategy: Proven success in creating and executing a product data strategy.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, and data visualization tools. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages is required.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
