Electrical Test Engineer Opportunity

Leonardo is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in Yeovil. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating test programs to carry out continuity, insulation, and functional testing on electrical assemblies and installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test programs to ensure electrical assemblies and installations meet required specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to the manufacture or build process.
  • Provide technical expertise to support electrical testing activities and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test lead requirements for current and future programs.
Requirements:
  • Education to at least HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline and/or a time served apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in electrical testing and test program development.
  • Good working knowledge of design engineering software and drawing interpretation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Engineering IT software.
