Job Opportunity: We are recruiting a Site Engineer to work on the Water Framework across the Teesside Region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous Civils experience to make a move into an ever-growing industry. The successful candidate will have at least 12 years of work experience.

The role involves maintaining high personal safety and environmental standards, supervising assistant engineers, and ensuring that drawings and specification documents contain sufficient information for construction.

The estimated salary for this position is up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, healthcare, pension scheme, and other perks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards.

* Supervise assistant engineers to ensure effective teamwork and project delivery.

* Ensure that drawings and specification documents contain sufficient information for construction.

* Provide accurate and clear setting out for works.

* Communicate with foremen and gangers to ensure full understanding of information provided.

* Arrange formal checking of setting out and complete inspection and test plans.

* Keep accurate daily site diary and prepare weekly programmes.

* Provide accurate measurements for materials required and maintain material reconciliation figures for reporting.

* Ensure that material delivery tickets are passed on for cost coding and carry out testing / sampling of materials.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor on Infrastructure projects.

* Minimum qualification of HNC/HND in a relevant field, preferably a construction-related degree.

* Possession of CSCS, First Aid, and Full Driver's License certifications.
