Aircraft Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the aftermarket area and implementing production plans, coordinating materials and resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning:
    • Collaborate with the production team to develop and maintain production schedules and plans.
    • Analyze and forecast demand for materials and components based on production requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Optimize inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing holding costs.
    • Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and take appropriate action.
    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to procurement and supply chain efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the procurement and planning functions.
    • Support the establishment of the aftermarket area.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge in aftermarket area.
  • Experience in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a planner or buyer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electrical assembly.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in using ERP and MRP systems.
  • Experience in Change Order Management and production scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
