Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Combat Systems team. This role will involve delivering quality assurance across various projects, ensuring that products meet stakeholder requirements.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

  1. Travel nationally and perform quality audits at supplier premises
  2. Anticipate and escalate problem areas, providing guidance to peers and suppliers
  3. Monitor project adherence to contracted quality assurance requirements
  4. Review subcontractor and internal designs for compliance with lifecycle processes
  5. Complete inspections of complex electromechanical systems and supporting documentation
  6. Raise non-conformances and manage corrective actions to closure

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Quality Assurance (Supplier Quality)
  2. Manufacturing background with quality assurance experience
  3. Willingness to travel nationally
  4. Defence background an advantage
  5. Electrical or Mechanical manufacturing environment experience
  6. Supplier Quality experience
