Job Description

Clark Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure to support and optimize production manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create and implement infrastructure designs to support production manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Factory Layout and Planning: Utilize CAD software to design and optimize factory layouts, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Equipment Specification and Procurement: Specify and purchase capital equipment and operational equipment for maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Operating Procedures: Develop and improve operating procedures to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with operations to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Design and Development of Jigs and Fixtures: Design and develop bespoke jigs, fixtures, and handling aids, ensuring specifications are met for procurement.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and prove out process improvements, ensuring seamless handover to production.
  • Compliance: Work in accordance with ISO 9001, 45001, and 18001 standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Document Control: Experience with Vault or similar revision and document control systems.
  • Bill of Materials: Knowledge of bill of materials and materials selection.
  • Tolerancing: Understanding of tolerancing principles.
  • Supplier Relationships: Experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • Engineer Cost Reductions: Ability to identify and implement engineer cost reductions.
  • Hand Calculations: Ability to perform hand calculations.
  • Pipe Work and Systems: Working knowledge of pipework, pumps, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: HNC in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards.
  • Document Control: Experience with document control processes.
  • CAD Software: Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (3D CAD).

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Professionalism: Ability to demonstrate professionalism in building client relationships.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Ability to work on own initiative with strong time management discipline.
