At VictorianPlumbing.co.uk, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Order Consolidator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and consolidating multiple orders into single shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to meticulously check and sort customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Consolidate multiple orders into efficient shipments, adhering to size and weight restrictions while maximizing packing space.
  3. Pack consolidated shipments securely using top-notch materials and following strict guidelines to ensure safe and timely delivery.
  4. Label shipments clearly and concisely to prevent errors and ensure smooth delivery.
  5. Prepare all necessary shipping paperwork, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  7. Collaborate with the team to load shipments onto designated vehicles and assist with stock replenishment tasks.
  8. Utilize your keen eye for detail to identify mispicks and ensure every order is complete before shipping.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  2. A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
  3. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  5. Capacity to lift moderate weights (up to 20KG) throughout your shift.
  6. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  7. Forklift truck license is a plus, but not essential.
  8. Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new warehouse management systems quickly.
