Our client, a leading manufacturer in the local area, is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the department, while providing support to the Engineering Manager as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective workflows to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to set and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and quality within the department.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.

Please note that this role will involve working 1 in 3 weekends.
