About the Opportunity

Austin Fraser is offering an exciting opportunity for a Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for promoting a positive and continuing Health and Safety culture in accordance with the Group Health & Safety Strategy, Policy and Standards.

In this role, you will work closely with the Operational Managing Directors to ensure that our employees and stakeholders are provided with a safe and healthy working environment. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance within operations with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all applicable supporting statutory provisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in health and safety management, including a NEBOSH National General Certificate (NEBCert) and minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. Enrolled on the IOSH IPD/CPD Scheme is also essential.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Strive for excellence in delivery of Health & Safety management
  2. Review and approve Compliance Policy Arrangements
  3. Promote a positive Health and Safety culture
  4. Monitor compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all applicable supporting statutory provisions
  5. Advise Risk Assessment and Control actions
  6. Facilitate regular discussions and review Health and Safety performance and standards
