Production Line Picker

Job Summary:
Berry Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Line Picker to join our client's food production team in Bicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and packing food produce items accurately and efficiently from the production line. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Select and pack food produce items according to specifications and quality standards.
Ensure that picked items are free from defects and meet company quality requirements.
Load and unload products onto and off the production line.
Organise and stage materials for easy access during the picking process.
Perform visual inspections to identify any issues or defects in the products.
Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Accurately record picking data and maintain logs as required.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic understanding of food production processes and quality standards.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (hot or cold, depending on the type of food produce).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.
