Job Title: Finance Systems Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Lead to join our team at DGH Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the support mailbox, working closely with the IT Service Desk team, and being a key point of contact for finance systems used by the finance team and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the support mailbox and work closely with the IT Service Desk team to ensure timely and effective resolution of finance-related issues.
  • Be a key point of contact for finance systems used by the finance team and other stakeholders, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Keep documentation of key setups and known issues up to date to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Support the finance team and senior management team with 3E data extraction, including analysis and presentation using ad-hoc reports, SQL queries, and automated reports.
  • Review current systems processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and propose changes to workflow and reporting processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Lead Elite training initiatives for the finance team and the wider business to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Work closely with the IT team on technical systems initiatives and manage the relationship with Thomson Reuters/Elite.
  • Develop the operation assistants within the team to make them self-sufficient and pass on knowledge as part of longer-term succession planning.
  • Be involved in other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of Elite 3E.
  • Extensive experience of SQL Server, including advanced data interrogation techniques.
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Power BI.
  • Experience in using other key finance systems such as Intapp applications (Time and Open), ARCS, Chrome River, and Xcelerate.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum and a hybrid working arrangement.
