**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced SEND Coordination Specialist to work part-time in a Stockport school. The successful candidate will have prior experience as SENDCO in the primary setting and hold the National SENCo award.

As SEND Coordination Specialist, you will support children with additional needs on EHCP plans, monitor progress, input data, and ensure paperwork is up-to-date.

You will communicate with external agencies to arrange review meetings, discuss future plans, and provide feedback on individual pupil progress.

**Responsibilities and Requirements:**

  • Hold the National SENCo award or prior experience as SENDCO in the primary setting
  • Be an integral part of the Senior Leadership team
  • Have an excellent understanding of how to secure progress and improve outcomes for all pupils
  • Have experience planning and delivering provision for a wide range of specific needs
  • Be able to effectively implement an intervention programme to raise levels of attainment
  • Have experience of effectively supporting colleagues to develop their practice
  • Have the knowledge and skills to liaise effectively with a range of agencies
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
