Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Medical Inpatient Physiotherapy team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with complex medical conditions.
Main Duties- Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including acute respiratory needs, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning skills.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Supervise and support more junior staff, including physiotherapy students and support workers, to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the service, including participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives, and leading by example in promoting evidence-based practice.
- Participate in on-call and weekend working, as well as late shifts, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the service.

Requirements- BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in an acute inpatient setting, with a focus on respiratory care and complex medical conditions.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively, and to motivate and train others.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and to lead by example in promoting evidence-based practice.
