Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for improving the productivity of engineers, creating effective reporting mechanisms, and ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion of work within the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive operational excellence and foster collaboration among engineering teams.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to problem-solving and decision-making, leveraging metrics and performance indicators to assess team efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with various functions to drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level.
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight for software initiatives in Production Management.
  • Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in building scalable solutions to improve service reliability and/or increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience with object-oriented or scripting programming languages such as Java or Python to build DevOps/SRE solutions.
  • Experience with agile systems development methodologies.
