Head of EMEA Legal Affairs

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join our EMEA team, focusing on data center legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EMEA-specific legal challenges and opportunities in the data center, digital infrastructure, or cloud-based services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the business on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiations, employment matters, intellectual property rights, advertising and marketing regulations, disputes, and data privacy laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives while minimizing legal risks.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to stay up-to-date on changes and developments that may impact the company's operations within the region.
- Manage and oversee litigation matters, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures, providing training and education to internal stakeholders on legal issues.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum 10 years' experience leading high-performing legal teams, with relevant industry experience preferred
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to move fast and take smart risks
- Demonstrated success as a growth-minded, authentic, service-oriented leader capable of motivating and guiding teams in an entrepreneurial environment
Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience
