Head of Financial Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Financial Analysis to join our team at Societe Generale. As a key member of our GBIS Finance Division, you will play a critical role in steering our financial and budgetary strategy, as well as developing and promoting our control framework.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement our financial and budgetary strategy, ensuring alignment with our investment and development policy.
- Account Certification: Oversee the monthly account certification process, including following up on balances at risk and updating our AOC policy for Societe Generale International Limited.
- Quarterly Closing Monitoring: Prepare the pre-close pack highlighting expected issues and monitor daily the month-end close.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and present financial data to our Finance management, including statistics and typology.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure our existing PAQ DFIN policies are refreshed in line with process changes.
- Operational Conduct and Risk Committees: Organize and present topics from our OCR on a quarterly basis.
- Project Support: Provide support to any projects impacting our DFIN team on a best-effort basis.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong ability to liaise with all relevant departments and levels of management.
- An accounting diploma (ACCA) or equivalent.
