Financial Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reconcile Fixed Assets and Inventory sub-ledgers to general ledgers.
  2. Assist in reconciliation of Property Plant and Equipment (PP&E); Operations, Materials and Supplies (OM&S); Internal Use Software and other fixed asset accounts' beginning balances.
  3. Assist in reconciling Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) Fixed Assets information to other PP&E databases and systems.
  4. Assist in the performance of independent valuations of capital assets that lack original source supporting documentation.
  5. Assist in compiling metrics and information to support any required write-offs to correct asset account balances.
  6. Assist in the development of audit schedules and work papers to support balances on financial statements.
  7. Assist in developing research papers on financial accounting and auditing standards.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
  • Possess a current professional license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • At least 7 years of accounting experience.
