Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Operations Lead to join our team in Stafford. This exciting opportunity will allow you to oversee commercial financial operations and lead a team of Finance Managers.

This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, supporting operational teams, and ensuring consistent financial reporting within the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage 3 Finance Managers, ensuring consistency in reporting across the Retail warehouse network
  • Provide financial guidance for new projects, contract-wide reporting, and tracking project spend
  • Drive financial activities that align with business objectives and improve operational performance
  • Lead the training and development of new Finance Managers in the network, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge sharing
  • Manage monthly reporting requirements
  • Support Lean initiatives, project benefit tracking, and reporting improvements across the network
Key Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and reporting knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
About You

You will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. A dynamic and forward-thinking approach to finance is essential.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + 15% Bonus
