About the Role

The Shore Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a Data Centre project in North Acton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and oversee the installation of pipework systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and plan pipework installation works with direct labour workforce and/or sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Take off and arrange materials for the works, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Attend Design and Build (DAB) meetings with the principal contractor to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure a safe working environment and identify potential hazards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in pipework installation, including pre-fabricated pipework and large diameter pipework.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
