Job Description: Transport Administrator

Position Overview:
We are looking for Transport Supervisor to join our team. As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transport department. You will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our fleet, drivers, and related equipment. Your primary goal will be to maintain a high level of service delivery while adhering to safety regulations and optimizing operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular CCTV checks to monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Perform license checks for all drivers to ensure that they possess valid and appropriate driving licenses.
- Develop and implement vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure the timely servicing and upkeep of the fleet.
- Identify and correct defects in vehicles promptly to maintain their optimal working condition.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of convey systems, ensuring they are in good working order at all times.
- Calculate driver standards, including productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Book repairs with garages and liaise with mechanics to ensure timely resolution of vehicle issues.
- Place orders for any required parts or supplies needed for the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
- Collaborate with transport-related suppliers to organize a washing schedule for the fleet.
- Monitor accidents and incidents involving company vehicles, ensuring timely reporting, investigation, and appropriate action.
- Keep track of fines and penalties related to transportation, ensuring they are addressed and resolved promptly.
- Amend unaccounted for mileage in the transport system to maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Manage the uploading of tacho card data and VU (Vehicle Unit) data for regulatory compliance and monitoring.
- Conduct inspections of MOBA weighing equipment to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with industry standards.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a Transport Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
