Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Academic Appointments are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in South Yorkshire to work in a school providing education for young people with severe and complex learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs, as well as working in an educational setting within the last 2 years.

We offer a competitive salary based on current grade, experience, and payroll method.

The role involves supporting pupils with three different pathways, following a rich curriculum that uses sensory exploration to engage students with the world around them.

The ideal candidate will have a Team Teach qualification and Moving & handling training.

We require x2 references and experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.

Salary: £25-£30 per hour
