Capital Works Project Manager - Interim Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Capital Works Project Manager to join our team on an interim basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of capital works projects across our affordable housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of capital works projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including residents, councillors, and consultants.
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including the preparation of key documents, risks, and bid evaluation.
  • Ensure effective collaborative working and stakeholder consultations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage budgets and financial resources across multiple projects.
Essential Experience:
  • Proven experience in capital works project management, with a strong understanding of local authority procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Excellent financial management skills, with experience in cost control and financial management within capital works projects.
  • Strong background in working on similar capital works projects within housing, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Good knowledge of current building regulations and standards.
