At the London Borough of Croydon, we are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team in the Family Assessment Service.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to work with families and children to create positive change.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess strong analytical and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive Child and Family Assessments to identify strengths and areas for development.
  • Develop and implement effective family plans to support intervention and promote positive outcomes.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to ensure children and young people receive the support they need.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £53,607 per annum (Grade 14).
  • An additional welcome payment of £10,000 and retention payment of £2,500.
