Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at The Peterborough School. As a key member of our Early Years team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring the highest level of care and education for our young children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to your team, promoting a positive and motivating environment.
- Coordinate all aspects of your designated room, ensuring sessions run smoothly and children receive the best possible care.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, promoting learning and development.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment.
- Ensure the individual needs and safety of children are identified and met, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Ofsted, EYFS, and Welfare requirements.
- Ability to create an engaging and stimulating environment.
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and motivating environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional completed training courses are desirable.
- Good IT skills.
- A competitive salary of £27,352 - £28,600 per annum, dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.
- 40 hours working week, Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts.
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays and closure over Christmas.
