Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at The Peterborough School. As a key member of our early years team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery and the well-being of our children.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, promoting learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive community.
  • Ensure the highest level of care, identifying and meeting the individual needs and safety of our children, while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Ofsted, EYFS, and Welfare requirements.
  • Ability to create an engaging and stimulating environment, promoting learning and development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to form and maintain relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills and ability to adapt to new technologies.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £27,352 - £28,600 per annum, dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts to accommodate the needs of the nursery.
