We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team at TeacherActive. As an Educational Support Specialist, you will work with our team to provide high-quality educational support to students in our secondary schools in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized learning support to students in a 1-1 setting
  • Assist students in developing their core skills in English, Maths, and behaviour specialists
  • Work with students who have diverse needs, including those with SEN
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working in an educational environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for making a positive impact on students' learning
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions
