We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team at TeacherActive. As an Educational Support Specialist, you will work with our team to provide high-quality educational support to students in our secondary schools in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized learning support to students in a 1-1 setting
- Assist students in developing their core skills in English, Maths, and behaviour specialists
- Work with students who have diverse needs, including those with SEN
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working in an educational environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for making a positive impact on students' learning
- Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions
