Adult Education Tutor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Counselling Skills Tutor to join our team at the Workers' Educational Association (WEA). As a Counselling Skills Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and teach courses face-to-face and online using Zoom/Teams and Canvas, the WEA's virtual learning environment.
- Support the wider delivery of a quality curriculum offer that supports the work of the Association.
- Teach and assess learners with mixed abilities, adapting your delivery to meet their needs.
- Design and implement innovative learning schemes, schemes of work, and lesson plans.
- Work with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
- Have a strong working knowledge of OFSTED's Education Inspection Framework.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent).
- Level 5 specialism (if you have IQA and Assessor qualifications, that would be advantageous).
- Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas.
- Passion for adult education and making a difference.
