We're a Northern charity dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring to young people who need it most. Our mission is to unlock the potential of disadvantaged students by offering subsidised tutoring in Maths, English, and Science.

As a Secondary Maths Tutor, you'll work directly with schools in the Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Leeds-Bradford regions to deliver tuition to small groups of students. You'll form meaningful relationships with your pupils and help them achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tuition sessions for groups of up to three students.
  • Work on a self-employed basis, with flexibility to choose your own hours.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a high-quality tutoring experience for all students.
  • Participate in our core tutor training programme to develop your teaching skills.

What we offer:

Requirements:

* A grade of A/7 in the relevant GCSE subject (or equivalent) * At least three hours' availability per week * Ability to register as self-employed in the UK * Enhanced DBS check (provided and paid for by The Tutor Trust)
