Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Special Educational Needs in Chelmsford. As a key member of our team, you will provide tailored support to meet the child's individual needs, promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging social interaction and independence.

About the Role:

You will work closely with the child, helping them access learning, build confidence, and grow socially and emotionally. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, where your dedication can have a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to meet the child's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies and progress.
  • Promote a positive learning environment, encouraging social interaction and independence.
  • Monitor progress and report back to teachers and parents.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is patient, compassionate, and ready to help a child succeed. Previous experience with SEN is an advantage, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
