We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team at Language Empire, providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with formal qualifications in interpreting or translation. They will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of the interpreting process.
As a freelance interpreter, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work at your own pace. You will be responsible for interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services, checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence, and liaising between the service user and service provider.
Requirements include:
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation
