Job Description

As a Mechanical and Electrical Systems Technician at Briggs Equipment Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' heavy equipment fleets. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks on heavy equipment
  • Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical system faults
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective maintenance operations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g., Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard)
  • Proven experience in mechanical or electrical system maintenance or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
