We are partnering with a market leader in asset rental and sales, who is undergoing a period of positive transformation following successful investment.

As one of the largest equipment rental and sales dealers across the UK and Europe, they require a proactive and dynamic Accounts Assistant to support business growth and develop skills within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit card reconciliations, expenses, and invoicing while maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and customers, resolve overdue invoices, and address any queries.
  • Assist in preparing journals, prepayments, and accruals for month-end reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate across different business units to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Process payroll submissions.
  • Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis.

To Succeed:

  • Pursue ACCA, CIMA, or AAT certifications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills with effective prioritization.
  • Maintain accuracy when working at high volumes.
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset.
