About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Practitioner to join our team as an independent end-point assessor. As an independent end-point assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that apprentices meet the rigorous standards set by employers and are fully competent in the relevant occupation.

Job Description

The broad purpose of this occupation is to move products or services from supplier to customer, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved at all stages. The occupation can be in one or more supply chain functions, for example, junior demand planners will forecast customer demand, while junior supply planners will schedule factory production.

In your daily work, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders who are critical in ensuring supply chain effectiveness. Due to the high number of interactions both within and outside of organisations, strong relationship building, influencing, stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A proven track record of experience in Supply Chain Practitioner, ideally with a background in industry qualifications at level 5 or above;
  • Able to demonstrate occupational competence and a commitment to maintaining CPD;
  • Experience of leading meetings/structured interviews/discussions and complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements;
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively respond to conflicts;
  • Flexibility to understand and respond to the individual needs and circumstances of employers/apprentices;
  • Sufficient and relevant technical knowledge of health and safety requirements, industry structure and processes, legal and regulatory frameworks, and systems, tools, equipment, machinery and processes used within relevant roles.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to professional development opportunities and a comprehensive pension scheme.

Other Requirements

You will need to have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson required software, a suitable broadband connection, microphone, headphones, and a webcam. You will also need to have a personal and secure email account, a postal address in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey Isle of Man, and the right to work in the UK.
