Job Summary

The Peninsula London is seeking a skilled Refrigeration & Catering Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the good maintenance and repair of all Cold Rooms, Refrigeration & Catering equipment throughout the Hotel and Residences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Cold Rooms, Refrigeration & Catering equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and operate efficiently.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of Refrigeration & Catering equipment to ensure compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and external contractors to provide additional or specialized guest services.
  • Ensure all maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a similar environment.
  • Trade certified or NVQ level in Refrigeration & Catering.
  • Basic knowledge of building services such as HVAC systems and Plumbing and Drainage, and relevant rules & regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with good problem-solving skills, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency.
