About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the construction of earthworks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the construction of works, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
  • Maintain excellent relations with all stakeholders, including Eiffage Keir, HS2 Ltd, and members of the public.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to manage risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach across all sections of the contract.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience in linear earthworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern earthmoving methods, plant, outputs, and technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and a focus on finding cheaper, faster, and safer ways of doing things.
