About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Unit Manager to join our team at Livewell Southwest CIC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our service users within a Low Secure Environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to service users.
  • Line manage a group of staff, including undertaking caseload management and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Contribute to performance monitoring reviews and processes, ensuring the unit meets the requirements of the CQC.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives, working closely with the regional Commissioners and Case Managers.
  • Liaise with regional Commissioners and Case Managers to prioritize bed management and coordination for the regional secure pathway.
  • Support the monitoring of compliance and delivery of standards of care within the unit, adhering to service specification for Low Secure Units.
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to the nursing team, facilitating the effective use and development of multi-disciplinary team meetings.
  • Contribute to case conferences and reviews, supporting service users and carers to engage with services and contribute to their care.
