Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Description:
Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The role will be based out of the Aberdeen office and involves managing the delivery of engineering projects to schedule and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engineering excellence through project coordination and management.
  • Monitor and support compliance with quality, HSE and assurance standards.
  • Alert the Project Manager to potential delays or changes and support the implementation of approved changes.
  • Fully understand the project schedule and hold regular reviews.
  • Work with the Project Teams and Department Heads to achieve project objectives.
  • Understand project execution and work sequences, relating this to schedule and budget.
  • Monitor and review progress with Project Controls and Engineering disciplines.
  • Review budgets and performance and initiate control measures.


Requirements:

  • Prepared to travel to site to support construction execution activities.
  • Onshore construction CDM project experience is preferred.
  • Strong planning, organising and execution skills.
  • Relevant proven experience within engineering and procurement projects.
  • Recognized qualification in an engineering discipline.
