Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Farmfoods. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling stock, and working collaboratively with your team to maintain a safe and clean shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all customers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive and process stock deliveries, ensuring products are stored and displayed in a safe and appealing manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Be flexible with your schedule, working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • A friendly and positive attitude, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating the cash register.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility with your schedule, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
