Clinical Psychologist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with moderate learning difficulties and associated behaviors.
About the School
Our school is located in Camberley and serves up to 150 children aged 4-19 who require the support of a specialized curriculum to enable them to thrive and reach their full potential. Our school has a Therapy Department, consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
- Provide behavior and pastoral support
- Build robust and effective relationships with students
- Adopt a practical approach to meet the individual needs of students
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be caring, compassionate, and a good listener
- Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students
- Ensure safeguarding of students
- Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD
What We Offer
Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. Pay is £85-90 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only. If you have a Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science degree, it's an excellent use of your degree.
