About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at a prestigious all-through SEN school in Kingston Upon Thames. The successful candidate will work with children and young people with Autism/ASC/ASD, Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN), and associated learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for students with SLCN and ASC
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs
  • Provide training and support to staff on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements
  • HCPC registration or currently in process
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and young people with special needs, particularly with Autism/ASC/ASD and associated learning difficulties
  • Personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs
  • Positive, proactive, and patient individual with the ability to build good working relationships
