About the Role:

Work Wales is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join their team on a part-time basis in Swansea. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with the HR Manager to provide support and guidance to employees and managers alike.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR, including recruitment, onboarding, and data management. They will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of various data to relevant parties.

Duties:

  • Provide HR support to managers and employees as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Assist with the recruitment of new employees.
  • Support with the onboarding of new staff for the company.
  • Be involved in recruitment campaigns and participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Provide advice and support to employees on HR policy, procedures, and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Support managers through the effective application of HR policy and terms.
  • Ensure adherence to principles of data protection and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with GDPR and all policies.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience of supporting the application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Good understanding of the principles of good HR practice.
  • Experience of using HR systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Experience of undertaking day-to-day activities within the employment cycle.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
