We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Law Specialist to join our team at Paradigm Housing Group. As a key member of our Legal Services team, you will deliver high-quality, in-house legal expertise across the organisation.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Deliver expert legal services and guidance across the Group, acting as a trusted business partner.">
  • Manage an active caseload of contentious housing management matters, including possession action, disrepair, and property conditions disputes.">
  • Provide policy advice and support the management of legal risks across the organisation.">
  • Develop and lead training sessions for colleagues, helping them become 'intelligent clients' when engaging with external legal services.">
  • Work on strategic projects with the Head of Legal, deputising as needed and drafting reports on legal matters for senior stakeholders.">
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and seek feedback to enhance your professional growth and the legal team's expertise.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A proven track record in housing management, anti-social behaviour, property litigation, and residential landlord/tenant law.">
  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil procedure rules, residential landlord and tenant law, and contract law.">
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across various audiences.">
  • Experience managing relationships with senior leaders, producing high-quality written and verbal reports, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.">
  • An understanding of the social housing, charity/not-for-profit, or property sectors is advantageous.">
  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.">
