Editorial Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Specialist - French to support our marketing and communications efforts at Computacenter (UK) Limited. This role involves collaborating with writers and editors to create high-quality content that meets our brand's standards.

• Content editing and proofreading: ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all published materials; identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and style issues; maintaining and enforcing adherence to house style guides and editorial standards.
• Collaboration: working closely with writers and other editors to refine and improve content; providing constructive feedback to writers to enhance the quality of their work; managing multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Fluent in French
• Proven experience as a copy editor or similar editorial role
• Strong portfolio of edited written work
• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for errors
• Ability to learn about the language from new areas, technologies or industries
• Proficiency in using editorial and proofreading tools (e.g., Microsoft suite, Grammarly)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
